Information about Resident Permits
You have received a temporary resident permit for the duration of your studies at the University of Applied Sciences from the Deggendorf Office for Foreign Residents.
This resident permit expires in case of early de-registration, change of university or course of study, as well as when not following the rules and regulations for a course of study. Expiration means that from that period of time, you no longer have a legal resident permit and must leave the Federal Republic of Germany immediately. Any further stay is illegal, i.e. you must accept the legal ramifications if you remain in Germany.
Transferring to another university or changing your course of study is only possible in accordance with the Office for Foreign Residents. Therefore, before any sort of change you must get in touch with us first.
Before your resident permit expires, you must apply for an extension at the Ausländeramt (Office for Foreign Residents) in Deggendorf.
Adresse:
Herrenstr. 18
94469 Deggendorf
While enrolled in a course of study, foreign students are only allowed to work for 90 calendar days or 180 half-days a year.
