Education is an international activity with students, staff, and courses becoming more mobile. The HDU is indeed an interesting and very open institution, providing modern, relevant and practical courses in a friendly, relaxed environment. We make every effort to ensure that your time with us is as rewarding as possible.

We have currently nearly 5,000 students studying across the range of our business and engineering degree programmes. Our prime task at the university is to provide our students with the best employment prospects and equip them to become life-long learners. We strive to achieve this by providing excellent facilities, highly trained staff and strong partnerships with educational establishments and industry - regionally, within Europe and throughout the world.

We have a responsibility to communities far beyond the university. This can be attributed to the work we do here, whether in applied research, in the education and training of our students or other professional groups, or in the areas of knowledge transfer. We strive to pay attention to the changing needs of individuals and society and to keep our programmes relevant to our local, national and international partners. Our new University campus has been designed with the students‘ needs in mind and is equipped to provide up to the minute teaching and learning facilities with state-of-the-art technological support.
